It has always been the modus operandi for American pop record companies to import British talent such as the Beatles and The Spice Girls. Now the rap industry has followed suite by bring in U.K rappers such as Estelle, Dizzee Rascal, etc. But I believe that out of all these fresh faces Kano is THE English rapper to watch. His debut album is something fresh, exciting and new to "the rap game". It oozes with the hunger of an up an coming artist that put everything into an album and wants to take the industry by storm. Everything is on this record; with party tracks like "Nobody Don't Dance No More", personal ones like "Sometimes" to the old school '80's homage "Reload It". Like me you'll probably listen to this album over and over. It's a pity that his sophmore album "London Town" is yet to make it on iTunes.

Picked a copy of this up when I was in london... I love the flow hes got. BTW if you havent heard it try looking for "Get Set" a track from KANO off of one of the Scion Mixtapes I got at one of the auto shows... good stuff man

Kano is no joke. don't underestimate this cat. I'm from California, i've grown up around great music. Snoop Dogg, Too Short all that, if Kano keeps rolling like this, he's gonna be up there in my mind put up London Town
