I love all types of comedy and I honestly believe jimmy pardo is the best comedian alive!! A lot of people can write jokes but it takes a real talent to throw of his sleeve like jimmy does 95% of the time

I love stand up. I own tons of albums. I heard this man on Doug Benson's podcast. Funny on that show. So I looked up his album and bought it. The first time listening to it I chuckled and laughed but not a lot of belly laughs. I gave it about a three and half stars. However about a month later this album came on during one of my comedy playlists. I listened to the whole thing and could not stop laughing. The way he works the crowd is amazing. The lines he comes up with off the top of his head are great. Glad I waited to review this album till after my second listen through. I hope he comes out with another one.

This disc was given to me by a huge fan of Jimmy's who surprised me by saying it wasn't very good (we're both regular NNF listeners). I listened to it while driving, expecting to be disappointed but ended up laughing myself stupid.
His crowd control is amazing and teetering on the brink of disaster. He pushes the crowd so much that you can picture someone taking offense and getting angry with him (which has happened, if you listen to the Never Not Funny podcast). Pardo's style is made for the comedy club and not the giant stage, and this is a great example of him working a room perfectly.

For those of you who hate this because it is almost all Jimmy working the crowd, that is what it was MEANT to be. If you had a physical version of the CD with the liner notes (or listen to Jimmy's hilarious podcast), you'd know that this was MEANT to be an entire CD of him working the crowd. If you want a great COMEDY album, go buy his first CD, appropriately titled, "Uno" (although I don't think it's being produced anymore.) This is a fantastic album that I highly recommend. Just be aware that it is almost all improvisation and its not a normal comedy album.
