At 1st I only knew Russell Allen. About a month ago, i looked at this and left it. Then I heard jorn lande in an avantasia song "Another Angel Down" and loved it. I went to research him, and coincidentaly, I remembered it was him in this album. The revenge is a freaking amazing song with super instrumentation and vocals, and for $0.69 U have 2 buy it. These r some of the best and most powerful vocalist you will ever hear. Also, look into Adagio, Fantastic symphony x wannabe's and david readman vocals (BTW, another great vocalist.)

AS CLOSE TO PERFECT AS YOU WILL FIND. MAGNUS KARLSSON SHINES NOT ONLY AS A GUITARIST, BUT ALSO AS THE SOLE WRITER AND PRODUCER. JORN LANDE AND RUSSELL ALLEN ARE JUST SIMILAR ENOUGH IN TONE THAT THEIR HARMONIES SOUND MADE FOR EACH OTHER, BUT THEIR UNIQUE STYLES ALSO MAKE THEM EASILY IDENTIFIABLE WHEN THE GO OUT ON THEIR OWN. I CAN'T WAIT FOR THEIR NEXT PROJECT TOGETHER! HIGH POINTS INCLUDE THE REVENGE AND MASTER OF SORROW, BUT THERE ARE REALLY NO WEAK TRACKS!

This album is right in line with the previous release and borders on melodic metal excellence. Both Russel Allen and Jorn Lande have soulful voices and can make any song sound fantastic. Guitar work is excellent and so is production. This is what happens when the very best metal performers and musicians get together to make magic. Don't miss Russel Allen's work on all Symphony X albums and be sure to check out Jorn Lande's entire musical work with Ark, Millenium and his solo releases. The dude can do no wrong. It makes me sick!

Russel Allen and Jorne Lande are the greatest singers of rock and roll ever. Other Singers that are very good that come close are Andy Kuntz (Vanden Plas) David Draiman (Disturbed) and Jack Black (Tenacious D). Also Check out Avantasia, Symphony X, Evergrey, Circus Maximus, Kamelot, and Ayreon.

Russell Allen has to be my personal favorite singer of all time. His work is fantastic in both his work with Symphony X and his solo stuff. After hearing Allen and Lande do The Battle, I immediatelly needed more. Don't read reviews that come from the sort of people that say that Thought Chamber is bad (Minimal whats your face, Im talkin to you). This is a must have for metal fans. If you like this, I also suggest the progressive scene. Go check out Dream Theater, Symphony X, Vanden Plas, Circus Maximus, Spheric Universe Experience, Thought Chamber, Liquid Tension Experiment, and Redemption.

...this is horrible. Not only is it a poor copy of bad 80's rock, which wasn't a good era to begin with, there is nothing original here and the song writing is bad. Better suggestions are Priestess or Mooney Suzuki, or Burning Brides if you want something that is a little throwback.

im a big iron maiden fan, and some of the guitar parts remind me of them. its to worth it buy the album so do it!!!!

This music is pretty awesome. It has great guitarists and just plain rocks!!!!
