This movie “surfs up” was amazing! The sound track is one of the best sound tracks to be known in a movie! The shape and look of the characters was just really good! I have watched the movie 679 times! Thanks for making this movie. Your bro, scrub master. Once again thanks dudes! Oh! Also the songs pocket full of stars, stand tall, you get what you give, drive, and , into yesterday we’re just the best! Sincerely, scrub master. See ya later bros
  • Half awesome soundtrack, half throwaway

I remember loving this movie when i saw it back when it came out. It's a really fun movie that I still watch from time to time now that i'm older. The soundtrack, on the other hand, is much more hit and miss. Half of the songs are awesome and literally half (7 tracks) are throwaways. And another part of the downside is the fact that i already owned more than half of the 7 awesome tracks. So, as far as purchasing the album is concerned, there was little value in this soundtrack as there are only 2 or 3 tunes that i would want to/need to buy. The real upside of this soundtrack, however, is that it conveys the feeling of the movie very well. All are very beachy surf rock tunes. You feel the movie with your ears, even if you don't want/don't need most of the songs on your IPod. That alone, makes this a very good soundtrack. The best songs on this soundtrack include an excellent cover of Toots and the Maytals classic Reggae Got Soul, one of the better Sugar Ray songs in Into Yesterday, one of the best Dirty Heads songs ever in Stand Tall, New Radical's You Get What You Give and a classic 80's tune in What I Like About You.

How many animated family movies have Pearl Jam or Green Day playing in its soundtrack (even though Green Day is not on the album)? Awesome!

I love this kind of music and me and my friend made a movie with most of these songs in it. The movie is awesome because of CHICKEN JOE!

good album, it would be nice if Stand Tall was an option to download. I don't want to buy the album for just that one song.
