With the exception of a few bad guests (I deleted that track Crack Talk straight up) Bambu made another amazing album. You need this album and Exact Change. Consider Bambu officially on your reading lyrics list.

Bambu brings the hard west coast street edge to conscious messages with some of the best flows out there. The album swings between hard street cuts and tragic songs, and a few head nod joints in between.
If you're into militant conscious music, look no further.
- Bambu is ill...so much talent...

Bam definitely has the ability to drop a 5-star album, and he's shown progress from the beginning. I guess it's all a matter of him getting more pub and getting a better range of beats to choose from in return. He rides any beat cleanly, there's no denying that. However, this album fell a bit short with some subpar guest spots (no names named, it's pretty apparent) and questionable beat selection (not much variety and few dynamic tracks). I give it three stars because the sky's the limit for Bambu. More "Chairman Mao" and less "Crack Talk"...
- Do not pass up on Hip Hop artist like Bambu who act upon what they preach!

not only does Bambu live up to what he speaks on, he is a model of what Hip Hop has always stood for: truth, struggle, and having fun.
i don't believe anyone can speak against an artist of his standing without looking at his past.
like the bio says he grew up in the real struggle, but fought against assimilating into it. so many other artist fake it, he lived it.
if you need some enlightening cop Bambu, Blue Scholars, and Brother Ali this summer!
- BUY THIS MANS ALBUM!
