I planned on writing a review for this album for some time now, Im not one to write reviews let alone give something five stars. My fellow outside thinkers, this is one my favorite albums of all time, please buy the entire masterpiece. This is music, this is ART, this is how real music should be created. The time and effort that was spent on this album must have been staggering. It makes perfect sense to me that something like this is not known by the mainstream because the mainstream could not handle something like this. CODS comments on all the whole pop culture fiasco that we see today and the inevitable downward sprial thats sure to come. This album is hilarious, depressing and brilliant. It gets in touch with all emotions and takes your mind on a journey that you wont want to end. Although every song is very well done, there is one in particular in my opinion that sticks out the most. "Losing Touch" is one of the most creative and imaginitive songs I have ever heard. Its deeply depressing but at the same time it locks you into a sense of hilarity. You can actually feel his pain and struggle with reality. Definitley the heaviest song on the album, it can almost be a sensory overload but everything meshes so well that you will end up repeating the song 6 or 7 times at least. And that goes for the entire album, all aspects are in balance every song is its own, nothing reapeats. My apolgies for the length but please if you truly enjoy music and can think outside the box please pick this up. You will not be dissapointed. Yep x 6, Uh-Huh x 3 - Listen to "Elmos Last Laugh" and you'll understand that. Enjoy!
  • Pleasently original and refreshing. Best band in quite some time.

It's not just the music, it's the composition. I love the juxtaposition of Disclaimer, saying how censorship is wrong and the next song being heavy and with violent-esque lyrics. This is definately one of my favorite albums I have heard in a while. I love it because it's wonderfully absurd and down-to-earth the truth at the same time. Keeps you guessing. One thing that is refreshing, especially, is the twist they added to lyrics and themes. Generally metal just aims to have more and more visceral lyrics like "raw I'll rip your head off". This has a twist of... I would call it absurdity. Listen to it to find out.

THis cd is staying in my car stereo along time, this is a good cruising album. Its very heavy and aggressive but with the industrial it sounds catchy also. I just can't stop cranking Losing Touch and President Pinochio at high volume, those are my favorite 2 songs! Can't wait for C.O.D.S. new album Operation Satan later this year in 2010. For fans of Bile,Ministry,Static X, and industrial music.

CODS is amazing. I got a song by them by accident, but after I realized that it was a remix, I needed to hear the rest of their music. This was a great album, R.I.P. C.O.D.S.

this cd just rocks. bands rarely come that destroy genres and are truely original. they perfectly mix the avantgarde, industrial, extreme metal, and mix it up with a great sense of hummor and a sense of epic satire. if you want something differant or are board with metal, these guys will bring back to the genre whle throwing you into others. not since dog fashion disco has the avantgarde been so create. this is a must buy. DO NOT BUY FROM ITUNES they rip the artists off. go and order the cd if you want to pay and support the band, so at least that way they get money.
  • An amazing industrial/punk masterpiece!

I heard the track"The Happy Meal-Worm" about a week ago on someone's myspace page, and it was good enough to inspire me to pick up the album. Picture Mindless Self Indulgence crossed with KMFDM.
  • one of the BEST cd's of all times

For those new to the band .. picture this. think of taking all your fustrations over pop culter, things that are populare like mcdonalds and k-mart and stuff like that.. now toss it all into a blender with a nuke and insane fast pace intence in your face music. then maybe you can get an idea of what this group is like. the Cd's first track is a disclaimer. and even thin it's not a normal.. telling people who obbject ot his to bassicly (cant say the word) off, orr enjoy the music. and then you get a hard punch to the face right off the bat. the musice is fast and intence. with many difffrent levels of stuff going on. and hte cd just keeps going. even though at it slows down a bit it never really lets off the gas. only going to cost at 120 mph before punching it hard and booking it to 200 mph. if you like bands like Mindless Self Indulgence, Tub Ring, Screaming Mechanical brain, dog fashion disco, combichrist, polkadot cadaver. give these guys a listen. i promis you won't be disapointed.
  • A MUST HAVE!

This band has to be one of the most creative bands you can find anywhere! If you like bands like GWAR , and NIN this just might be your new favorite band, ever since I got this band on my ipod there is not many other songs I listen to. You should buy the whole album but I suggest President Pinocchio, Utopia Burning, and Elmo's Last Laugh but all in all every song is unique, creative, and rocks!!
  • A Ripfreshing good time

Seriously, How often do you get talent and comedy .. and it sounds great!? These guys are true artists. Touching on social issues and general insanity; all while rocking your brains out. Check them out as soon as you can. Its like motorhead meats MSI. I recommend Track 2,3,8,10,1.
