I am a faithful buyer of all of Gretchen's albums and of course I bought her newest one...One of the Boys. I have to say it's not as great as her past albums. Her past albums seemed to contain much more upbeat different sounding music. This one contained a lot of slow ballad like songs and not as catchy. Not sure if she didn't write the music this time around or what but I am some what disappointed.

I have always loved Gretchen Wilson, from the first time I heard Redneck Woman. You should buy this album. My favorite is One of the Boys. I can relate to that a lot. Anyone who likes country music will love it!

Gretchen is amazing. She is delightfully hillbilly witha real woman attitude and a sexy voice. This album is great from first to last songs. It is up there with "Here for the party". It doesn't get better for current artists. To me she is on the level of Patty Loveless, Martina McBride and Sara Evans; the greatest of the current Woman of Country.
