What is it about Country that makes you feel so good? Great album! It's a definite must listen!

i heard of dead rock west through wilco and once i finally heard their cd, honey and salt, i fell in love. it is an amazing album and i want more people to hear about them! dead rock west is now one of my favorite bands, i listen to this cd everyday. A+

Honey and Salt is a great new album for this up and coming band. It has awesome lyrics to ride along side a soothing beat. Dead Rock West is really holding their own with this new album. The music has a strong feel of country and rock and roll, but it also has a unique sound to it. Highway One, Going Home, and Desert Rose are my favorite songs on the album! Every song on the album is great and I can't wait to hear what's coming next for this band!

Dead Rock West has much to offer human ears and the human spirit. Not being much of a country music fan I’ll admit they won me over, and that takes a lot for an artist to do to me. It’s not to say they are purely a country but they do have country flair with a rock edge which I am sure many of us can appreciate abilities to combine such genres. If you’re in the search for new music I suggest you download a song or two from this talented group, if not the album “Honey and Salt”. I recommend “All I Know” and “Highway One.” “All I know” is a very relaxed song, a simple melody and two vocalists singing their song. The strings on “Highway One” are what got me; I love to hear strings and beautiful acoustics on any track but especially this one. You won’t know until you hear them so please do because they deserve to be heard and your ears deserve great music.

Dead Rock West has such a unique sound that separates them from the crowd. Really good music.

I loooove their CD!! Burning House of Love is by far my favorite song on it. They are talent at its best. Def. worth checking out if you haven't!

DWR is my new favorite band. Most CDs I hunt and peck for the few songs worthy of adding to my iTunes music library (or for buying in the first place), but 'Honey and Salt' went in hook, line and sinker. Frankie Lee is a masterful songwriter, and sings with a rare purity and clarity, piercing the center of each note. His voice blends seemlessly with that of Cindy W., who has one of those rare voices that gives you chills and heats you up all at the same time. When angels sing, they try to sound like her. 'Highway One' will immediately be in your heavy rotation, and 'Desert Rose' is a future classic. The haunting 'All I Know; is the perfect end to a perfect album. I <3 DRW!

This album is amazing! It's got a great southern California vibe. If you like Old 97's, John Doe (Members of DRW are in his live touring band!), or any rock with a slight tinge of folk, you will like them. Wasserman and Drennan's vocal interplay is great, and Drennan's energetic guitar playing is always a pleasure. If you get a chance see this band live!!

This groups is absolutely amazing! Americana with a punk rock bite! If you're into Wilco and X, you'll love this band.
