Rise, Pt. 1 - EP

I agree, the Eric Kupper Remix is really great! It really isn't a dance song, more lounge, almost ambient sounding. I was very suprised, to say the least, when I downloaded and listened. She has a great voice!

Samantha James is a voice that bears reckoning... I still don't quite understand why she hasn't EXPLODED as of yet. Though these mixes are surely fun, none touch the quality of the original track; morose yet hopeful, introspective yet universal. What a difficult balance to strike yet she has done it in a seemingly effortless gesture. Keep your eye on her.

I first heard this tune in Miami last year at the Winter Music Conference. Samantha is one of the most talented young singers/songwriters today, and proves it with her first single "Rise". This one just went to #1 in Billboard Magazine, so I'm sure we'll be seeing more from her very soon!

The Eric Kupper Mix of "Rise" is fantastic! Uplifting and with amazing vocals. It first became a hit overseas last year - then went #1 on the U.S. Dance charts a few weeks ago. Definitely one of the best of 2007 so far.

This music makes me feel good. I love this artist and wish she had more to listen to!! She's awesome.

I love everything this artist does. I wish she would release her own album. She's got what it takes, as long as she works complementary producers...as is giver herein and on Rise Pt. 2 which is also good work.
