Reviews

  • A Beautiful Album with Sandi's Usual Artistic Touch

I found it to be an absolutely beautiful album, full of encouragement of His amazing grace and love for each of us. The songs range from soft and swaying to joyful and triumphant. As usual, her powerful, grand vocals work well to honor God with music that is dramatic, sweeping and theatrical.

Sandi has the purist, most beautiful voice I've ever heard. It's actually gotten better with age! Her story is raw and real. She'll speak to your heart, and her singing will bring you to your feet. Go see her live if you have the opportunity....I promise you, you WILL NOT be disappointed. I absolutely adore her.

Your bitterness seethes in your scathing review. You've completely missed the point. People blinded by criticism often do. Music was God's idea. She's doing what she was designed to do with it - glorify her Creator, not herself or please us. Sandi has chosen to take the much less traveled but higher road by choosing to forget what people think of her. It takes a clean heart to appreciate the same in others. When it's all said said and done, compared to the world's music, her music MATTERS. Her songs produce fruit that will last for eternity - not just until the next Billboard chart comes out.

Sandi has such an incredible voice, and she keeps getting better and better. Made Me Glad is a great song to start off the album. I love the guitar on Sing to the King. Sandi's song that she co-wrote "Step Into the Joy" is going to be sung at every church. The CD ends with a great duet between Sandi and her daughter. Her daughter has an incredible voice as well. A must have for your collection.

I'm not a typical Sandi fan. Not a Christian, not religious, don't believe in a traditional God. But have listened to her for 21 years, because she makes me feel fantastic and her passion for what she believes in is inspiring even if it's not exactly what you believe. Her voice -- at 50 is still so fresh and well preserved. And, she continues to move her style with time, without losing the core that we all love. So, Christian or not, if you want to hear someone who has great passion, will make you feel better than when you began listening, listen to Sandi.
