Okay, I like Cherie Currie but, her version of Cherry Bomb on this is awful, I Got You Babe is okay but not great. For Your eyes Only is horrendous. If I was an artist, I would seriously think about the stuff I put out. I know she can do better than this.

The Runaways version top this by a million, but this is the next best thing. Joan Jett didn't do as much justice. Kramer does what he does best: Kicking Out The Jams, but Marky overdoes it with the drums. Wayne overdoes it a little too by not palm muting some of the notes. Credit though to the Proto Punk sound that replaces the hard rock tone. Creative cover and thumbs up to the people here.

Cherie Currie sang the original Runaways song and it remains the best. This version recreates that sound rather well. Its a shame Cherie didn't make it big like some of her former bandmates, but thier success should'nt negate her contribution. They had plenty of hits to crow about. let her have this one.

OK, this isn't the worst version I have heard (a live version by Joan Jett and LZ managed that one) or the best (without a doubt, this title now belongs to Scary Cherry and the Bang Bangs - with the original Runaways version coming in a distant second - and I LOVE THAT VERSION) but clearly Cherie can still rock and Wayne Kramer, Rick Derringer and Marky Ramone are clearly bashing the hell out of this song. Just the same, I give it 2 stars (although it should not stand for "I don't like it" - two stars should stand for "OK").

.... can sing and as much as I love Joan , and I totally do, I have every one of her albums, Cherie is the best singer. That rock and roll music hid an incredibly solid voice and if she gets much more press you will hear it too. Look for a clip of her singing the National Anthem, you will be shocked how good she is at even the classics. This girl is $%&# good !

The Song Cherry Bomb has Marky Ramone (of The Ramones) and Wayne Kramer (of the MC5). I got you babe is pretty cool as well, but i think they got the idea from The Dictators.
