I find the Symphonic Movement one of the most underplayed pieces in band literature. It is well written and is a great showcase for the wind band. The colors and textures that Nelhybel utilizes are remarkable. Its brevity is, in my opinion, the only thing that keeps it from being more widely performed.

This unique collection of tracks fits the title. It starts off with two Military Suites and then Continues with some classical titles. This beautiful and elegant music is played by the very fine US Air Force Band. Since its formation in 1941 the Air Force band has been serving faithfully ever since. They fill a very important role of building morale and raising awareness about the rich heritage of the us military. This great classical Cd is a true work of art by this great band. If you liked that one try this: Music to Fly By sousa, air force band, military band, patriotic, air force, 4th of july, classical music, band music, marches, classical, solo instrumental
