I've been with AFOS and the electronica (synth) sound since MTV premiered "I Ran" decades ago. I actually purchased this at Tower when it came out and was amazed that this wasn't just some sort of repackaging deal. All of the mixes bring their own style, and it seems that free reign has been given to the interpretation of AFOS songs. Some favor "drum & bass" while others are more "ambient" like. Listen to the samples to find that which matches your tastes, unless you are a fan of electronica; because if this is the case, this is a must have for your collection (given that it is more varied and musically eclectic than most any collection I have ever heard). I am partial to the Die Krupps, Astralasia, and Interfaith Psi-Fi mixes. Believe me, this isn't cheesy early-80s synths - this moves the art form to a whole new plane of artistry.

With all that was happening in Electronica in 1999 they should have been able to come up with better bands to do the remixes. KMFDM for Space Age Love Song??? Who was the dolt who came up with that combo? Still there are a couple things on here worth a dollar or two. Nothing you couln't live without. If you love Underworld, don't buy anything from this album.
