Reviews

  • Not James Taylor the esteemed singer/songwriter!

This is an album by the funky acid jazz organist James Taylor, not the former Mr. Carly Simon! I'm thinking the above reviewer may have the two confused. Sounds good too!
  • Funked Hammond infused jazz

NOT to be confused with the 70s-80s rock of James Taylor. This Taylor has been a well respected Hammond organ guru whose music will be enjoyed by those more inclined to follow jazz acts such as Medeski Martin & Wood and Charlie Hunter. Check it out, upbeat jazz for sunny afternoons and cocktails.

Its got a real "Root Down" Jimmy Smith type feel to it.
  • Amazing Funky/Jazz Organ!

I had to write this review to offset the idiot who thought it was the folk singer James Taylor. Come on dude, of course this isn't that James Taylor. There are many musical artists with the same name. I love the classic JT too, but this IS James Taylor's 4th Dimension and this is da bomb! This is super funky, jazz organ stuff that is really great. The whole band is amazing, especially the drums and organ. 5 STARS!
