I love this! PJ did a great job of covering a classic! Eddie's awesome - very few singers could do this song.

This is an amazing cover of the classic Who song. Eddie Vedder's voice is awesome as always and Mike McCready really put a lot into the guitar on this song. If you even like Pearl Jam, this song has to go into your library.
- So good I hear The Who did a cover of it!

While the title of my review may be a joke, this song sure isn't. Reading up on this song on wikipedia, it said that Adam Sandler asked Eddie Vedder to cover this song and Eddie was reluctant to do so because he was worried that The Who wouldn't like it. I think all of Pearl Jam can rest easily; they knocked this one out of the park. If you told me to pick one rock singer who vocally could be the match up to Roger Daltrey, Eddie Vedder isn't the first person to come to mind. However, in this track, he stands on his own against one of rock's kings. While this song may be a cover, it hardly deserves the (sometimes) negative connotation that one associates with the term "cover song." Pearl Jam found a way to make this song their own without butchering the original, and in doing so they have added yet another notch into the belt of one of alt-rock's greatest and longest lasting bands.
- AMAZING

This is possibly my favorite movie single.. ever. You can feel the emotion of the movie in this song, and they fit perfectly together. This song nearly makes me cry thinking of Charlie's breakdown in the courtroom. I thought Reign Over Me did an amazing job of capturing the emotion of someone who is trapped by the horror of losing a family on 9/11. This song captures that emotion. If you liked the movie, you'll love this song.
