First of all... I do not give 5 stars but to ONLY the greats... However, if there were categories/levels of artist reviews (1. established artists, 2. breakthrough artists, 3. up and comers, 4. working hard-making music, 5. etc etc) I might have given this album 5 stars. I do not know who Ryan Horne is... Nor have I ever seen him live, but I do know that he has done two things with "Love & War"... 1. Horne has gotten his point across in a cogent and convincing manner... and 2. In a humble, approachable, and credible way, he has clearly illustrated a level of depth and talent that may prove universal... Now, if only the masses will respond. Time will tell. Nevertheless, a job well done on "Love & War," Ryan.

Ever wish artists still made CD's you could listen to all the way through? I think Horne thought about this when he was making this album because it is amazing start to finish. He is becoming his own artist yet still caters to all sorts of different styles and influences. I'm excited to see where he will go from here. It sounds like he really invested in some great production and that says a lot for someone who does all of his own promotion. Tell your friends about this album, it makes a great gift - they'll thank you for it. Several of these songs should be in a soundtrack- someone tell Zack Braff. You can tell that these songs come from a lot of emotion of both sides of the track from 'War for Me' to the toe tapping 'Grover Mill.' His inspiration comes from a great Love, some lost, some found. I don't know what else I can say: worth every penny. Enjoy!!

This album is incredible! its much more chill than Horne's first two albums. It sounds much better, but still captures the poetry and richness of his past albums. Like A Wheel, Favorite Dance, Walking with Jesus, and Radio are all top notch songs that you can listen to in any mood. The best song on here though is War for Me, which speaks to me when I'm battling anything in life. I listen to this album in my car everyday. Definitly get it, it"ll never get old!

on his junior debut, horne has achieved an album which shows his maturity both musically and lyrically. this album has a sound trumps his previous albums, love and war makes me look foward to hornes next album , every record has been better than the one before
