What can you say? This is maybe Alice's best number ever. The band just kills and Alice's voice is better than ever. This song is one of the best examples of true speed metal. The duel guitar attack is one of the best ever. All that said, it is the rythm section that drives this song from beginning to end. The syncopation of the bass and drums is the force behind this tune. The live version on the London album might even be better.
  • Alice at his heaviest album so far

Out of all the other albums that I have ever listen from Alice Cooper. This is indeed far his heaviest album ever I can totally tell the difference. As if he is trying to sound more hard-core in this album which is totally true.
  • Alice Cooper does it again

This track has a definite industrial metal influence to it which really shows how Alice Cooper has developed over the years \m/

This is one of his best albums. I went to see him live last year. I was sad he didn't sing anything from this album but guess I'll have to catch his Christmas Pudding Show in AZ this year.

I'm sorry that it has taken me eleven years to discover this album. I didn't know that Alice Cooper is still producing music -- I always thought he was yet another relic from the Good Ol' Days -- so it never occurred to me to look for any New Stuff from him. This album is what Metal is supposed to sound like, and Alice does it well. VERY well. Every single song is... disturbing.

Brutal Planet was the first Alice Cooper album I ever got (yeah I know, I'm a late bloomer, but better late than never) and let me tell you, it doesn't get darker than this. There isn't a song on this album that I don't love; "Gimme", "Pessi-Mystic", "Sanctuary", and the title track are some of my favorites. (But it's so hard to choose!!!)
