I keep listening over and over! I don't have much other "modern" music in this genre, the closest would be Baroness. Music is in my soul, & this is a great album for mind-expansion. I haven't really listened to Mogwai, except for their music in "Les Revenants" (which I really like). As so many comments here mention them, I'll have to check out their repertoire!

What a gorgeous album. Everything this band creates moves me. There are many bands that are similar to this one in the post rock genre but this band and especially this album are above the rest.

WOW! Just watched a reairing of The "FAB 5" documentary,a 30-30 Film on ESPN! The soundtrack was superb! The ending contained a montage with the song Quiet! Powerful!

The moment I heard the first song, I knew I was going to end up buying the album. This band, without vocals, can represent so much emotion in their songs, ranging from sadness, excitement, anger, happiness, etc. The album was, as my title states, absolutely breathtaking; astonishing. I highly recommend you buy this album and really take some time to listen to the songs thoroughly.

The album is what it says the emotional power in these songs if heard at the right or wrong time can destroy you. Some incredibly powerful music the likes of which you don't often find.
