This is the best album Chimaira has created in their career. Their new album (Crown of Phantoms) is the best they've created since. Long live Chimaira.

Chimaira isnt the best band ever, i give that to In Flames. but i listen to all types of metal 24/7. Chimaira isnt a band you should pass up. great album!

Let me say something really quickly, this is actually the last Chimaira album that I bought. And the reason why is because I couldn't find the CD anywhere. But one day I lucked out. This record decimates, completely decimates, all other albums that were released in the same year. There are no stand out tracks for me; each song is unique and catchy in it own way. No reason why you shouldn't own this.

Pure Hatred is a freakin awesome song! So is Power Trip. Implenents of Destruction sounds a little weird when I previewed it. It sounds like there are gaps in the song at one part. But a great album, one of Chimaira's best
  • definitely the best

definetly the best album they've released everything else they make blows. i laughed so hard i started to cry when they were trying to look metal by making a song with Phil Bozeman. DEAR CHIMIRA MEMBERS. PLEASE KILL YOURSELVES
  • Typical metal these days

This album is good for one thing & one thing only: to get you pumped up. The lyrics are crap & are fun to laugh at, but at least they have the drummer & guitarist saving every song... right??? The last good push for metal was in the 90's and now there are only a couple bands out there that are trying to keep metal alive, not trying to kill it.

I also have Chimaria/Chimaria, but much perfer this album... I was going to write them off as just o.k., and wasn't going to buy anymore of their stuff, but this is pretty d@mn good imo... Mayhaps I will purchase some of the older stuff... Really can't go wrong with this album...solid metal...great musicians
