One of my all time favorite albums...btw Deadly Sinners is no where near the best track on here so don’t let that one steer you away. Despite loving this record, I don’t care for the stuff that came after. If you don’t like Fire Up The Blades, it doesn’t mean you won’t dig the hell out of this

This is epic music to shred to. Or just headbang to on the way to the skate spot.

Rating: 3.5 / 5 Highlights: "Revenge is a Vulture", "Wykydtron", "Deadly Sinners" 3 Inches of Blood's sophomore album is a frenetic display of speed and prowess. Every song hits hard with crunching guitar rhythms and snappy solos, high-powered vocals and an impressive display of drumming. This group isn't your average metal band; they combine power metal lyrical themes with the explosive sound of thrash. However, if you're wondering if 3 Inches of Blood is for you, I'll warn you right now: Cam Pipes' vocals take a little getting used to. It took me a few listens to get warmed up to his voice, and it might be the same for you. Also, much of the album (mostly the guitarwork) can be sloppy, making the sound much more raw than you might be used to. However, that does tell you one thing: this band wasn't made for the studio. I imagine this is pretty close to what they sound in concert. All in all, this is a solid heavy metal album, with a unique twist, and a good addition to your metal library.

Don´t get me wrong, I love the band but everytime I listen to them I cannot stop thinking what would become of them with another voice, more clean. Again, don´t get me wrong, 3 inches of blood is like this and I don´t want to change them but I'd like to find more bands with clean vocals doing metal besides the ultra produced ones and the pop power stars.

Not normally into these kind of bands, but 3 inches of blood some how find the right mix of different metal influences, such as Iron maiden, death metal, and thrase, to make the freshes and most head bangging metal to date. Just listen to their best song "Deadly Sinners" and you'll be hooked. Buy this freaking album!
