Probably their best album.

Across Five Aprils is definitely some of the catchiest, most melodic music you're going to find for this genre of music. For that alone, they definitely deserve an applaud. "Sunnyland" is super awesome, and for those trying to familiarize themselves with hardcore, this album ought to be a first stop

Lets whisper is an amazing song!! Tallahassee's for Hookers is worth buying 2! its worth buying!! trust me!

theres no point to review something if you admit you hate the genre of music, and to go on about them screaming about " murder" and other "crud" just makes you look stupid, and you have no idea what your talking about and have zero understanding of what you review so you go and generalize again showing how inept you really are... ok on to the review this is standard fair for across five aprils it seems to be a natural progression, yes a tragedy in progess was a better album but this one isnt bad, give it a try and go into it with an open mind and you may find something interesting

I know it is bad to review a type of music you dislike (alright HATE!) but I was looking at the reviews and one of them said, "Gonna hav u singin along for a long time..." and I listened to the song that it was refurring to because, (maybe in some alternate universe) it was a good song... WRONG! It was screaming, yelling shouting, incoherent words like, "HAAAAYAAAAATTTTT!!!!" and "IIII'mmmmmm GGOOOOONNNNNAAAAA ______________ YOOOOU!!!!" (or something like that) and I wondered who in the world could sing along to that. So of course I listened to the rest of this "band's" songs and realized that there is no difference to each song. At All!!! Sooo... I personally suggest that you find another way to express your feelings than to scream about a murder (i guess???) or some other crud thing. BOOOSKER! <3 P.S. It was a good book until this band stole the name... god damn it!

This cd is the best A5A cd yet. With the right mix of hardcore and rock, this cd will have you dancing and singing along for months to come. If you want to get just a feel for the cd, get the songs "Let's Whisper" and "Sunnyland"... but I definitley suggest you get the full album.

Bought this album on a recommendation from a friend and I have to say I was really impressed. They're a harder band obviously, but they have well written, catchy choruses to many of their songs. Not to say that in the middle of a song they jaringly turn to pop, it just sounds different. A good diffrent! Break downs and guitar solos are also pretty entertaining. This is the first album I've owned by AFA so I'll guess I'll by the older ones next...
