The biography on this is completely wrong. iTunes needs to include on all album pages the year of the first ever release by the band and the year that particular album came out. Thank you

I just heard the Ghouls there a sick punk band a genre i really love horror punk. This band is just like the misfits but at a faster pace, more intensity, and killer lyrics (not saying the misfits dont have killer lyrics). Id love to hear these guys live they would put on an insane show.

this is a great album if you love horror/hardcore punk. it's their last album as the ghouls(they are Hate And War now) because they had no original members left after robert price left. there is one other full length called "We Are The Dead" but i think it's out of print. i lucky to live near philly.

Certainly a great album, Stand Alone is the first and actually last full length that will be released with frontman Robert Price on vocals. Stand Alone was released off of S.O.S. records in early 2007. This would be The Ghouls second release following their E.P. which was released off of Mark Unseen's A.D.D. Records a short time before. This album is Philadelphia punk at its best!!!!!Containing the bizarre vocals of Robert Price backed by the raw voice of Johnny Apathy, the album is a well rounded musically with impressive bass lines by Zach Volta and follows a story line about "GHOULS" .After the release of the album The Ghouls quickly added Steve of New Jersey's Above All Hope on rythm guitar and toured quite a few times during 2007 with bands such as Resilience, Total Chaos, Funeral Dress, and The Krum Bums. In Feburary of 2008 Robert Price decided to leave the band for reasons that are still unknown. He was later followed by Steve who chose to continue his career with Above All Hope rather than The Ghouls. The remaning three members continue the band with Johnny Apathy on vocals,Eric on Drums,Zach on bass, and an unknown new guitarist. Although this will be the last of what most know as The original Ghouls(on record anyway), the band continues to stick with it in hopes of a bright future and further releases.

This is a really good album, true punk. Great fast, loud, fun! My favorite tracks on here are Stand Alone, Lose Control, Ardmageddon, and Jekyll Hyde. I recommend buying this to every punk out there, but make sure you buy it from somewhere besides iTunes so the money goes to the band since theyre still playing and touring.
  • BUY! But not on iTunes

I saw these guys a few weeks back with Lower Class Brats and Career Soldiers. Amazing. Real punk for punks by punks. No filler here. Support the band by buying the CD.
