It is a crime that this guy is overlooked.Richard X. Heyman is deserving of a MUCH wider audience. He writes great power pop catchy tunes. All In The Way That You Found Me and In a Boxcar are better than 99% of the stuff on the radio today. Give him a try.You will not be disappointed.

If you've never heard of Richard X Heyman before, don't be alarmed. The one thing those who know of him agree upon without hesitation is his status as perhaps the most talented, original, unheralded pop artist toiling in semi-obscurity. One listen to this 20-song opus brings to mind the best of the eccentric pop masterworks, from Todd Rundgren's "Something/Anything?" to The Magnetic Fields' "69 Love Songs". All the elements are in place: expert songwriting, one-man-band capabilities, a genuine love for all types of music, and of course, THOSE HOOKS! Most of these fine tunes grab the listener immediately, while all of them instantly display their potential for exponentially increased enjoyment over time. This is one of the few revamped re-releases that makes perfect sense, particularly for those who missed Mr. Heyman the first time around. The good news is that it's not too late to catch up on all the existing albums while he's still around to make future masterpieces. And what better place to start than the ironically-titled "Actual Sighs" at $10 for 20 songs?
