    I can't remember where I first heard Patty Griffin, but it was one of those moments where I heard her voice and I had to stop and pay attention. Her songs and story telling remind me somewhat of Mary Chapin Carpenter, and her voice is so silky smooth that she could be the fourth member of the Wailin' Jenny's.

    I have followed Patty from "Flaming Red" and have never turned back. She is one of the most exceptional talents on this earth. I realize three stars is not the best rating. The sound of this record is just not what I yearn to hear. As usual Patty's voice makes you feel like your in a wonderful dream. For some reason, the music made me want to wake-up.
