First off if u didn't grow up in N.Y.C. it would be hard for you to understand this. When you went to one of the jams where Busy Bee was you knew the women were in the house and no Busy wasn't a great rapper but that's how we did it back then. If your 30 and under and consider yourself a Hip Hop artist.. Play this multiple times and learn the true school art of rockin a party.. Busy Bee didn't have the hottest lyrics but he could entertain the crowd for hours doin just what he did best, rockin the house.. Peace love and respect to all the pioneers that breath oxygen or ether.. Yall won't be forgotten... Peace to my Soundview crew and bring Hip Hop back to The Birth place.. We need a Hip Hop museum... What's up all. First off to anyone who has been around Hip Hop for a while, they will buy this CD just because it brings back alot of good memories. Let me start by saying that I have been around Hip Hop almost since the begining, growning up in NY in the late 70's and early 80's, so it's safe to say I have seen my share of Hip Hop. I have seen Busy Bee rock the mic 100's of times and have had the opportunity of having Busy Bee introduce my crew during a MC Convention at Harlem World, in Harlem, NY (the club no longer exsist, even though everyone is running around screaming "Harlem World"). Now the truth of the matter, Busy Bee was definitely not known for his rhyming, but he was one of the best Hype men in the city, if not the best. Now if you plan on buying this CD to hear the best old School Hip Hop, look elsewhere. If you want to just hear the music, feel the vibe we felt, or just bring back old memories, This is the CD for you. Hope this helps..... Peace, The IJC

TO the other reviewer who said Busy rarely raps. Well, back then a lot of the shows were being "hosted" by MC's who would talk over the records and keep the crowd going. It wasn't really about rhymin, but more about keepin the crowd going to the beats of the DJ. This is just more history for people either getting into rap, or just don't know where it all came from. A must have. SUCKAS!!

I am a huge fan of the golden age of hiphop. My favorites are Lovebug Starski and Cold Crush Bros. After seeing Wild Style a billion times, I noticed that Itunes had some Busy Bee tracks. So I bought the album... what a mistake. Busy Bee does not rap, he rarely rhymes, all he does is talk jive, on and on, complete nonsense. He says he's 'the best' mc about 1,000 times, but he never proves it. The first real track on the album (one of the few tracks that itunes HASN'T mislabeled with the wrong title) is the legendary battle between Kool Moe Dee and Busy Bee. Busy Bee doesnt even stand a chance against the mighty Moe Dee of the Treacherous 3, so download that track and see why its a good thing Busy Bee never made it big, not only is he TERRIBLE but now a days he looks like Urkel with dreads

What ever happen to the days when this was what rocked the house, later for that new garbage. Now its all about the money and no creativity!
