Jacob Izrael is one of the best Gospel Rappers out there!!! His lyrics are a blessing to me and to anybody else who listens to him.

What more can i say than that this has to be one of the best albums i have ever heard. From hard hitting beats like Godly Life to hits like Alternative Music, this album is a complete package. His flow is great and the message in each of his songs are simple but strong. I highly recommend this album to anyone. Do not underrated this cat. Also, do not sleep on the song Heaven.

I know Iz - and I got nothing but love for that cat - but if I'm going to be honest with folks, I must say right off the bat: the first song will throw you off. It seems as if it was an older - less experienced song - that made the cut just to give the album 17 songs. Once you get past Turn It Up - cuts like Godly Life, Geekster, Foolish, I Feel Like, and several others will have you forgetting about the initial impression of track 1. It is for that reason only that I give the overall review of Even Louder a 4 out of 5. The album - without the benefit of me knowing Jacob - will go down in history with me as one of the most influential pieces of work in my personal library. Jacob does and says things that I wish I could take credit for. Anyone with an honest view of their own struggles, both past and present, will no doubt vibe with I Feel Like and Godly Life. Jacob has a style that is his. At once lazy and woven in and out of the tracks but always in the pocket. The majority of his material is deeply thought provoking and always real. The music ranges from what most will label "dirty" and "chopped and screwed" to varying degrees of good ol' B-boy hip hop. Minus one track - this album deserves a 5 - even if some of his unique flows require some getting used to. It is - without a doubt - worth the $10 you will spend on iTunes. You simply will not go wrong with Even Louder.
