The exotic, spacey, electronica-foreshadowing title track from MAGNUM FORCE is still exotic and spacey and downright freaky. It's weird, baby, weird! But it's a ton of fun, and this recording is the soundtrack from the movie. If you've never seen the film, it begins with the title track while the camera travels over a blue-steel Smith & Wesson .44 revolver, and at the end of the track, Clint Eastwood repeats his famous "punk" monologue from the precursor to MAGNUM FORCE, the film that started the series, DIRTY HARRY. This excellent title track from Lalo Schifrin sets the totally twasted tone for this conspiracy-laden guns 'n guts (both all over the place) film. Check it out ... punk!
