Just read a story where Zeppelin stole the start of the song Taurus from Spirit and made it into Stairway to Heaven, and i'd have to say it sounds darn similar. The 2 bands did 4 shows together in the late 60's and stairway did'nt come out til 70's. Hmm, i think Randy California should be due a lil credit (and his estate some money) here. Always loved Spirit

One of the enduring mysteries of the music biz is why some bands sell a ton of product while others laguish in underserved obscurity. Rescue Spirit from obscurity. Buy this for the abundantly talented but obscure. Buy this for Randy [RIP]. Buy this for yourself. You'll thank you.

Perhaps one of the greatest little known bands in history. The reviewer who gave this one star needs to have his ears examined. As long as there are people who love good music Spirit will be remembered. If you aren't already a fan be sure to check them out.

This is a great band, with some wonderful songs and albums. Starting with the first album, featuring Fresh Garbarge....all the way through Dr Sardonicus, Spirit gave us unique music and some great songs.. Sure there were some uneven albums and filler, but the good stuff far outweighs the duds.... By the way, the so called Rock Enthusiast's negative posting shows that this person is either deaf or is a musical ignoramus ...

i dont know where rockenthusiast has been keeping their head, it sure hasnt been in earphones! this band was never commerical, or phony in how they delievered their music. ahead of their time,yes, an influence on other bands, yes, one of the best guitarists of the time, yes. does 70's music wrong? no!

this album is an excellent gathering of unique songs by a largely unnoticed group. spirit is very talented and it disappoints me that they achieved so little with the unforgettable songs and albums that they generated, but for those that appreciate them this should prove to be an excellent CD

Most Excellently Positive-Fresh as it was in the 20th century as it is into the 21st! Nature's Way sings to us ahead of it's time.I Got a Line on you Blazes! These songs were ahead of their time; check them all out most excellent!!! Peace.
