  • Good...but still like the original with Richard Burton/Julie Andrews better

I had the good fortune to see Richard Harris in this version of Camelot twice and enjoyed it...however nothing beats Richard Burton/Julie Andrews in the original. I'd recommend that version over this.

From listening to this I think that the Original broadway cast version of Camelot is much better. I would recommend listening to that before buying this.

I personally thought that this was a great album. Richard Harris is wonderful and it is way better than the broadway version. I love this movie and I would deffinantly advise "Camelot", "How to Handle a Woman", and "I wonder what the king is doing tonight?"
  • Not perfect but certainly good!

An excellent recording of the touring version of the classic musical. 'Take Me to the Fair' was not included on this version because it was not included in the stage version. To think this is somehow iTunes' fault is silly. This version includes the Jousts while the movie version has 'Fair'. Richard Harris is indeed wonderful. Fiona Fullerton and Robert Meadmore (Guenevere and Lancelot) aren't amazing, but they're more than creditable. The addition of the 'Resolution' track is a very nice touch - something missing from other versions, yet a powerful central point here. All in all, I don't see the problems others are seeing. This is a marvelous recording.

Umm... why are both versions of this musical missing songs? Why isn't "Then you May Take Me to the Fair", one of my favorites, ON HERE?!!?! You're killing me, itunes! I'm going to become a Puretrack convert soon...!
