This review is almost 3 years after the release of the album, but I find that it's necessary to glorify The Flaming Tsunamis as their last days approach. Coming into contact with this band live for the first time in 8th grade (Westfield First Baptist Church, NJ, March 2007) without knowing their songs and not enjoying what I had heard prior to the show was a changing experience. Originally not a fan of hardcore music whatsoever, I came away from that show loving the experience, and have been an avid, if not borderline fanatic, listener since, and have seen them live 4 times since. This cd has opened up my world musically. With a mix of maniacally-paced songs and catchy melodies, The Flaming Tsunamis have written the best album in my possession. It is for anyone who enjoys earth-shaking guitar and bass, fast double-bass pedaling and heavy cymbals, powerful hornlines and bone-chilling screams that I swear come from a monster dressed as a human.

With the release of Zombies Vs. Robots Pervious to Fear Everything i was sort of worried. I was deffinitely worried that a kind of "sophmore slump" would plague this cd. Thier last disc was amazing hands down but when i started listening to this, boy did i underestimate TFT. From the beginning of "The Ritalin Conspiracy" you can pretty much guess this album will venture into territory not traveled by a CT Ska-Core band. Bird-Watching and Vice Versa comes in after the first song with an interesting intro and a good bass beat and horn line. Corpse Disposal For Dummies is where The Flaming Tsunamis shine in the fact that their songs range from funny to evil. Fear Everything is like the "refuse to die" off of fear everything. The Great Red Cross Robbery is a ball of energy. If You really love me is an amazing epic about sacrificing your girlfriend to your inner zombie. The First rule is also an amazing song. Satan vs The U.S.A. shows off great song writing skills on the part of the guys. World of Choas is where Johnny gets to shine on the intro. Bennett Brauer, all i can say is GSevuuuuuhn. The Powder of Life goes from a ska song into like hardcorish territory, interesting transition. Last but not least Sh*t P*ss Die is a good way to end such an energy packed disc. All in all if you are from Connecticut or just a ska or ska core fan in general then i think you should deffinitely purchase this cd. If they play in your area go and sing along and punch some people in the face. It is the most fun you will have at a "ska-core" show!

I am a huge fan of the band Folly. One of things I loved about them was their ability to mix ska guitars with some nasty hardcore breakdowns. I was searching on Last.fm for a band that might resemble that sound. I found The Flaming Tsunamis to not only resemble that sound but to take it to a whole new level. This truely is a unique blend of hardcore/ska/jazz its mind blowing really.
  • Great Band

So much pretension, posing, selling out, sucking, and craping on the word music; its nice to know that there are still some modern bands that give meaning to their music
  • Awesome CD, well worth purchase price

This is, by far, one of the best albums I've ever bought. Not only does it instill a sense of wonderment at the sheer shredding power of the band, but upon further listening to the vocals, you realize this song is comparable to Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas for its sheer "What?" power.
  • It just keeps getting better.

The Flaming Tsunamis are by far one of the most talented bands right now. They take Ska, Metal, and smooth Jazz licks and just make it work. And not to mention their thought provoking horror movie inspired lyrics. I recommend this album very strongly, and I recommend you get all of their albums. I also had the priveledge of meeting them when they came to Richmond, Virginia this past fall. They are the coolest guys on the face of the earth! Very cool, very hard working, a must have.
