CL is getting better. I stopped watching B.E.T. and listening to the radio so I didn't even know about this album. We need an internet home where all the indie and small labels can market real hip hop.

C.L. is a pioneer of hip-hop and an icon of rap music. This album shows that he has what it takes to evolve with the music and still keep his own original style. AND ITS NOT THAT CRAP THAT THEY CALL RAP ON THE RADIO! Keep banging them out C.L.

cover? hideous album? very dope. thank goodness for music samples--i almost passed this up from the doggone cover. it betrays the classic CL Smoothness on this joint.

CL thanks a lot for staying true and doing your thing. This is real hip hop. I'm 32 and your flow just took me back to when I was a shorty. I remember you and Pete just killing it in the early 90's...this is a dope album, definate props to the "Mecca Don" Peace! Real Hop Hop

Again this man demonstrates why Hip Hop will never die. Please spread the word and love about this album. His delivery is on par with the greatest and its a shame his career didn't take off. This album is superb. If you don't like this then you don't know what Hip Hop truly is. Thanks for the good music C.L. you still got it man. Peace and Blessings.
  • No "T.R.O.Y" or "Take You There" but real hip hop still!

CL Smooth is still a legend in hip hop and i don't think there is a better single to this date still than "T.R.O.Y" after all these years. such a sick song although this album isn't a classic, its still time to give props to real hip hop when its due and c.l smooth is real hip hop, love him or hate him it doesn't matter cause back in the days he/they were doin it real big.

As you can see CL has switched up the game from his style to his lyrics since the mecca era. I first heard his single on indie hip hops podcast and I couldnt wait to see his new work. If your a young cat inspiring to be an mc listen to this and pick up a book!! DJ truent

This album is worth the purchase and I'm a 36 year old female that can remember when Hip Hop was Hip Hop. It would have been nice to have the "Chocolate Boy Wonder" on the scene but I will take it. It's really sad that this album has not been mentioned on the airwaves but most good talent is underground so SPREAD the word people.
