Such a great song!!! Makes every memory about growing up in MQT come back to life. Painting the rock, cruising 3rd st. at 3am... anyone from a small town can relate to this song. Matt, you're great!

Such a beautiful song and a great place to live. How do I know that? Because I live there!!! :o) Everything in the song, I can picture clearly like "cruising 3rd at 3am" because I used to do that (everyone would cruise 3rd Street with their windows down and music blaring, even in the dead of winter!) in my teens. This is the one song that I'll to listen to over and over again if I ever leave Marquette just so I never forget what a great place this is to live!!

Matt Sia has a wonderful sense of time and place, and his songwriting is very evocotive of all that he's known. With thoughtful lyrics, a voice that comes at you like a deep sigh, and beautiful guitar work, he'll remind you of a lot of artists you've loved but somehow manages to sound like nobody else. And he's dreamy.

THIS GUYS GOOD! New York artist Matt Sia hits a sweet spot. "Take another Bite" twists down a winding road of a love/hate relationship so familiar to any New Yorker. The last line of the song sums it up, "the toilet never looked so beautiful..." “Marquette” is the last track and delivers a touching lament to days growing up in quaint Marquette, Michigan. With such smart, lucid, catchy lyrics and bright, sharp melodies heard in Sia's debut release, your gonna want to keep your eye on this guy.
