Just try Pirayana track and you'll know that this artist's minimalistic approach has been worked out to a degree of perfection rarely seen.

Take a listen to "Can you see this?" Man, this guy has a good ear for melody. And I love that this music is so minimal and relaxing. This is a welcome change from all the boring glitch music out there. Amazing, amazing music!

Xerxes is a true master of the chill genre. He knows how to manipulate his sounds to create songs that seemlessly create a great mood from the get-go, last a long time but never feel repetitive, and keep you coming back for more. Highly recommended.

It's very rare to find an artist who can competently balance electronic music - achieving ambience without sounding new age, using melody without being formulaic, getting art out of electronic without getting cliche, and for me, Xerxes does this elegantly. He takes his time developing a motif and every one of the tracks is satisfying musically. My ear has always been drawn to his pieces on the online ambient stations and finally, finally he has put together a great set of his music for itunes. Thanks X!
