if post-emo folk was a widely recognized genre of music, joe wilson would most certainly be considered one of its pioneers. his simple guitar/vocals approach to music graced with his thoughtful and heartfelt lyrics truly create something beautfiul.
joe wilson has been one of my favorite musicians for quite some time now and continues to inspire my own musical projects. please support unsigned musicians and buy "a day in my shoes".

Holy Cow! Joe Wilson is on iTunes! ive been listening to Joe's music for several years now. i first heard him when he was in 2 man acoustic group called Feeling Left Out. anyway, he is an incredible musician whse lyrics never fail to be deep and meaningful unlike so many other artists out there. Great Music! BUY THIS ALBUM!

I've known of Joe and his endeavors dating back to his days in Welcome Home Travis, one of the greatest pop-punk bands in NJ history. I have to say Joe, you've matured so much from those days of playing local VFW's and Elk lodges. A Day In My Shoes really shows that you've "come of age" as a songwritter, with well crafted acoustic guitar melodies and cunning lyrics. Definitely the best acoustic/indie LP i've heard in a while. A+
