I love Keb Mo. Scorcese's compilation is an excellent sampling. I have gifted this CD to several friends who only listen to "real hard blues" and am happy to report that they are hooked on Keb Mo. A few years back I was driving in spring time at dusk though the Palouse country (eastern Washington State.) The undulating hills of sprouting green wheat were the back drop for the song "Henry" which I put on repeat. An hour of my life enveloped in that sweet song! Perpetual Blues Machine and Soon As I Get Paid, lift you right out of the sweetness. It Hurts Me Too makes me slap the dashboard.
