Maybe I'm the only one who is tired of "red dirt" or Texas country. I suppose if you like dressing up in pastel polo shirts and north face vests and polishing off a sixer of Silver Bullets, this is your kind of music. It's the same from one "artist" to another in this genre. There is absolutely nothing moving or exciting about it, no creativity to speak of, just talk about trucks, Texas, beer, jager and friday. Worthless music for narrow-minded people. I feel bad having to give it a star at all.

Stoney LaRue is my new favorite singer. His band is solid; Jeremy Watkins on fiddle is awesome on "Idabel Blues". We saw them at Gruene Hall and Brazoria County Fair. The band puts on a rockin' show, so see them in person when you can. They are gonna be "Solid Gone" to the top!

This CD is one of the best texas country CD's out and stoneys voice is one of the best around...Oklahoma Breakdown is a great tune...there is a song on here for everyone...Feet Dont Touch The Ground has to be one of the best songs on the cd but they are all great!
