- Unwritten's Best!

By Falling 4 FIASCAO!
This is Unwritten Law at its best... Why they went so poppy it's obvious, the green is king. So I say buy this album and stop! Don't buy anymore of their newer stuff it'll be like listening to commercial jingles all day! But if you really need some more Unwritten Law you are only authorized to purchase the Blue album and that's it! Nothing else!
- bad religion rip off????

This review is for the idiot who said that U.L sounds like a Bad Religion rip off in this album. If you knew anything about U.L.during this era you would know that Brian Baker did the guitar solo on a track #3 (Suzanne). So if you think that they sound like Bad Religion in the album that is because it is BR playing the guitar in this album. Also if you think they sound like them, thats because UL used to open up for BR very often. Matter of fact, Scott Russo (Singer) has a tattoo of the album cover "Suffer" on him. So yes, I think they were influenced by them. This is UL's best album hands down.

Well Idk what to say exactly. about those who just critisize any band or just say the most dumbest thing. putting it in my way I'll say F*ck those punk wannabes. There is some bands that are just lame like tokyo hotel. This album is good the way it is. Just punk-Ish! and if these kids say its Bad they can just be a lil kiss A**!!!! and just go back and listen to their lil gay pop bands.

It reminds me of growing up and listening to nothing but OLD SCHOOL Greenday...or post sell-out in my opinion. Not too bad, I like it

This CD was an anthem for me when I was just a skinny skater kid in middle school. It's too bad that bands like UL and AFI sold out big time and sound so crappy these days! I miss the good ol' days of straight up punk rock. If you like this CD you check out these albums (Millencolin - For Monkeys) or (The Vandals - The Quickening). Take It light homies...

Aside from the black album, this is the UL record to own! Melodic mid nineties skate punk, pure and simple. Reviewers are smoking pole if they think the later albums were better. Great songs throughout and the drumming is exceptional. By the way, it's not UL without Wade!
- Later albums much better

This album is ok but the bands later albums are far and away better. You do not need this to appreciate later albums as the later albums stand alone as great by themselves. If you are listening to unwritten law for the first time then start with either the black album or Elva as they are both really good and much better albums. Lastly, this is not the band's debut album as iTunes states. They probably put that because they don't have the debut album for sell which is The Blue Room. And it's not rare...you can pick it up easily at Best Buy. By the way, Shallow is the best song on here.

What a bunch of kids ripping off Bad Religion with a horrible singer.
- Oz Factor is an important UL album

Oz Factor shows the evolution of Unwritten Law. To truly appreciate the later albums, I would recommend picking this album up. There are a handful of gems on this album. Shallow and Denied are my favorites.
