  • Superb album with its own retro feel...

It's too bad Elkland broke up after one album...this is a fantastic first effort, and, follow-on albums usually advance the art... I guess I can just say, thank you for this, Elkland, and, hope you can find a way to get back together and make great music again someday. Funny thing was...I bought the album and then by chance a few months later saw them live in Chicago opening for another act. Made for an extra memorable event...
  • Great throwback, but with great individualism

This band rocks. Apart is not only an awesome song, but amazing video too. I love the lights and walk-dance he does!!! Seriously though, this band deserves more credit than it has gotten: amazing vocals, very creator style with throwbacks to 80's and 90's, great combo.
  • if you don't give this album 5 stars, you are stupid

this album definitely deserves 5 stars. these are great songs in their own right, and if you think otherwise, you are WRONG. unfortunately, elkland no longer exists. They broke up and formed another band, goat explosion, which also no longer exists. Too bad. Well, they'll be back... just wait and see. ;-)
  • Would have been best band ever if the Cure didn't exist...

A very good album, but I'm only giving it three stars for it's blatant dependence on The Past.

I hope these guys do a follow up album, because nearly every song on this album is fantastic. My favorites are Without You, and Find Me not to mention the very dancy Apart. I listen to these songs all the time on my play ipod while working out.
