    why do you people accuse "K-Tel rip-offs", when it clearly states "Re-Recordings" ? oh, that's right . . . . . you can't read . . . .

I regret buying this song. I WASTED my money. I took a gamble that it was an ORIGINAL version. The ALL TOO SHORT "snippet" of a sample was CLEARLY NOT ENOUGH for me to know that it was NOT what i was searching for. I took the gamble with iTunes on this and I LOST!!!!! A longer or FULL version is in order. i REGRET making this purchase and wish i could RETURN the song for a REFUND! There are MANY other songs i want to buy. :(((((((

I'm a HUGE fan of the oldies - and take great pride in my collection of original songs. This song; however, was a HUGE disappointment. I KNOW the song and this was not the original. I guess I should have researched it better. I even bought another one - thinking I just had bad luck. Same thing. Not original. Oh well. Buyer beware.

None of the songs sound like the originals.Itunes should give a refund and also allow to preview the entire song before purchasing. Thanks Steve you've taught this 62 year old retiree once again that P.T Barnum was right.

I've panned so many knock-off compilations, that I need to get a life. Lightning Strikes is a re-recording (although not disclosed as such.) So is Sweet Pea by Tommy Roe as I have the original on a Greatest Hits compilation (which includes some recent items.) Use this offering as a guide to hunt down the originals and familiarize yourself with the tunes. These were all great songs - do a little homework and get them elsewhere. :)

I've been listening to my local 70's station , really great stuff!! however when I search Itunes, the quality of songs is poor to say the least.. and are not the original artists............. The artists are getting ripped off once again SHAME ON YOU ITUNEs

Hard to believe that K-Smell was able to con all of these artists into redoing their hits. Apparently the record companies screwed them so bad the first time around they got little in royalties and have to w***e themselves out to this level just to make ends meet. Sad, really.
