Boy what a great version of this classic tune! It has a fuller sound then the Santo and Johnny version.

Coming from a Haole girl from upstate NY . HAPA reminds me of all the beautiful things I loved about Hawaii. Also if you get a chance to go to a concert they are great. Just saw them again in Portland OR. Mahalo Nui Loa for some great tunes..

I was listening to XM radio one night when the song "Kahea U'ilani" came on. I was instantly captured by the gentle harmonies and classical style guitar (this coming from a person who's favorite groups are the Beatles, Rush and Oasis, in that order.) I had never heard of Hapa, but I bought "In the name of Love" the next week and was blown away. Each song is harmonically strong and equally different in sound. From the mystic sound of "Lelehua" to the remake of the U2 song "Pride(In the name of Love), Hapa is at their best. If you want something different, buy this album.
