The song "Money" (live version) with special guest Paul Carrack (flip 45 song " Sunset Strip") is missing from "Radio K.A.O.S." which should have been reissued as a bonus track!!!
  • Lovely early Roger Waters album! (If you don’t mind Roger Waters and the 80s sound!)

Radio K.A.O.S. Is a really awesome soundtrack! Love the story of the Album and the themes of the songs about the Cold War. And of course, the 80s sound! The sound is choreography amazing, with the synthetic sounds and the lyrics are lovely and in some cases, funny! Perfectly emulated the 1980s era. I also love how they always used so many different instruments such as the saxophone and of course. The guitar ref is amazing for a Roger Waters album! Everyone did extremely well on the chorus department!! And the sound design is wonderfully done! And Apple Digital Master sounds just like a good CD (almost High Fidelity) In conclusion, is a wonderful album for a person who loves Pink Floyd or Roger Waters, and maybe for a person the loves the 80s sound. Of course is not for everyone but if you have the time. Check it out. It may be extremely worth it for your stereo system!

I've heard Waters laments making this album. Maybe it's a little 80s cheese in parts but that was the 80s! Over synthesized sounds. But 'Home' is just great. That song could have been on The Final Cut. If you lived through most of the 80s (I was 6 when it started,16 when it ended), you will enjoy it.

This is one of my favorite albums. As with all rock operas it does have a story although this is as weird and black as they come. I have always been a fan of Waters and this is one of his best efforts. I have the vinyl wnich I will keep from the needle and will just use the version I have from here.
  • Brings Me Back

I remember getting turned on to this by a friend back in 1987 in 29 Palms, CA while going to school for my MOS in the Marine Corps. The lyrics spoke to me like nothing I had ever heard before. I remember reading the lyrics while listening to this album over and over. The sound is crisp and the lyrics are deeply poetic...at least to me. Surprised to realize that I still remember almost every lyric word for word. Love the fish report with a beat!

This is a great "album". Great driving in the car. Great to do work to. Bought the cd in the 80s and lost track as life went on. So happy to rediscover it now.

Anyone who does not believe Rodger is a poet does not understand true poetry. Roger along with Mike Scott (Waterboys) are the true poets of our age and Radio K.A.O.S helps to emphasize that

I know it's very late for a review, being 2013,but I passed over this little album a few times and decided to up-grade my Roger Waters collectionto have the studio version of "The Tide is Turning".....pure genius from this man. He is what I consider a real artist.....this album is not for everybody....but it is for me. I wish there were more true artist like Waters....but then we would be glutted with too many thinking artist....best to have one good shrimp than to have a whole bowl of mediocker squid. I missed his show here in Philadelphia last year.....why? Couldn't afford it and I didn't want to sit next to my wife if she had a long face about the show.....this fellow might be just a little too much for her taste......dose that make any sence??? Hell No!!!!! Regrets,I have a few.

This album is fantastic, far better than Amused To Death or Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking. Highly recommend it. If you are expecting a Pink Floyd sounding album this is not what you are looking for, this is Roger Waters not Pink Floyd, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS

This album is incredible. Mr. Waters is the ultimate storyteller who uses the rock stage or recording studio as his medium as an artist. I had the privilege of seeing the live presentation of this story in Denver, Colorado. I will never forget it. Thank you Mr. Waters.
