I really like the music on the album however the album now has corrupt files and cannot be downloaded (reference Alegro); you will not have the music and will lose your money. Hopefully iTunes can correct this soon.

I absolutely adore this song. I'm going to ask my band teacher if we can play this awesome song!

If there is one composer in American History that exemplifies the true spirit of the nation, it is Aaron Copland. Listening to Appalachian Spring, in the mountains of North Carolina, in the heart of the Appalachian Range, the music becomes part of the experience of the grandeur of the region. The music composed by Copland is a treasure of America that everyone should become part of.

I have to admit, it's refreshing; orchestra such as him and Hans Zimmer is real good. I heard this song at 8/28 and I thought it was great. Great song.

How do I get it to ALWAYS play in sequence on my iPod when it is in Shuffle Play mode? 90% of the time I intend to listen to this as the full suite. Frustration reigns.

Noticed this topped iTunes' classical charts tonight, after a stirring performance of "Fanfare for the Common Man" by the Tucson Symphony at President Obama's speech earlier this evening. Excellent choice.

I love William Warfield's performance of the Old American Songs. Both he and Copland have done something spectacular with the songs. And Appalachian Spring is great. A must for any Copland fan.

Makes me think of our great country when it was still new. It fills me with visions of a young America with our frontiers laid out before us yet unspoiled. Environments filled with nature where life was hardy and earthy. This is trully some of the most inspiring music in the world

Good album, I would strongly recomend the Appalachian Spring Suite and Fanfare for the Common Man.
