I think I'm up to date on everything MJB! Having purchased 2 in a week (Apple Music's "Live" & this one (review later) Lol I reemember when she first hit the scene and everyone thought "another female rapper"... then she sang "I'm Goin' down" and they realized she had chops!!! She hasn't looked back yet !! From there to UNDISPUTED QUEEN OF HIP-HOP SOUL!!!!

This album is wack! There’s no track worthy of listening it sounds like Mary is trying to sing and there’s no soul in her voice. Buy this album you’ll be disappointed.

I’ve been a Mary fan since ‘92, but this album might be her worst. I’m aware that the human voice changes and becomes “seasoned” with certain singers/lyricists. With 15 studio albums (not including soundtracks, Christmas album, etc.), her singing voice is done! It’s as if the Engineers didn’t even try to pitch her notes correctly. Her earlier work (first 3 albums) were 🔥. ‘99-‘04 albums were mid. ‘05-2011, Mary hit a winning streak again. Everything after that has been mid or just down right bad.
