    The only other remix album that reinvents the original songs into something completely different that I can think of Bjork’s Telegram. This Brat revamp has some standouts like Club Classics and 365 that are sonically amazing — and those Lorde and Billie remixes are so complimentary lyrically & vocally to Charli’s. However, there are a few songs, where I prefer the original version, like mean girls. Overall, I’m here for Brat 2024.

    Charlie XCX has had a few memorable songs from the 2010’s but after that I didn’t hear anything from her. But this album was downright amazing. I’m glad there’s a lot of different versions, which are all wonderfully written, because it shows how much she cares about what she writes unlike some other musicians.

    I love that when she does a remix she finds the right person for the track. Plus, Charli completely recreates her verses and has a featured artist, so the entire song is essentially different, fresh and new…. But with the same original meaning.
