- Could be better

The album is ok. A little overproduced as usual for his later studio work. I just wish he included one blues song with a fiery guitar solo. His heart and soul have really always been blues and he excels at it.

- Great Low Key Album

Great album, considering Clapton's age. The vibe is low key. It'll gain criticism politically in reviews since it stands right of the outspoken Left, but a feature of rock music has always been to speak vs. the establishment. The song quality never dips below good throughout, & the highlights may incl. Moon River & new tracks like Smile, to go with the singles already released.

I've been an Eric Clapton for almost fifty years now so always anxiously await the newest release. However, I have to say this is probably my least favorite of any of his albums. It just doesn't feel right. maybe lacking the passion or possibly a faltering voice. Old musicians never die, they just fade away. Not all bad, just not what I've come to expect from E.C.
- Worth Purchasing (or the single alone) for "This Has Got To Stop"

Not "Layla," "White Room," or "Lay Down Sally," but "This Has Got To Stop" was the most important song of the past five years - Clapton deserves listeners respect and gratitude simply for having such courage (a la Roger Waters).
- Always Great!

A man with so much musical talent who creates such enjoyable songs. It takes years to be able to craft songs with that easy going guitar style and sound. Long live Eric Clapton.
- Sorry, I was a fan, but Iām over it

His attitude lacks the heart or the soul of a rhythm and blues man. He has undeniable talent, but it is wasted in him.

Eric Clapton has proven for decades that he's dumb as a post, but there's no denying that he knows how to make great records.
I love "Smile," but I'm not sure why it's included here. It's about the fourth version of the song Clapton has released, and they all sound basically the same. Great tune (written by Charlie Chaplin), but....why again?
