“Lucky” was a sheer icon of its time. Should not have been touched.

It was catchy and it was a song that had a purpose. I appreciate that. Theres also a misconception that she didn’t get Britney’s permission. This isn’t true. She got her permission from Britney herself through letter and from max Martin himself. The original writer of the song. Hope that cleared up any confusion.

Halsey’s lovely voice and her unflinchingly honest lyrics make for an incredibly touching song. Halsey is so real and I love that about her.

Terrible song. Also, don’t touch Britney’s “Lucky” lyrics! That song was something else in its time. Shouldn’t be touched

Love Halsey! One of my favorites. Britney is also one of my favs. That said, I like this song and the commentary but something is wrong with the production. Halsey's vocals are so squelched that I can't understand the words. Too over-produced. I had to google the lyrics. -- because this song is such a commentary, it needs to be top notch. But it's not. Great idea but not well produced, sadly.

This was such a bad song

This is an insult to Britney Spear’s song Lucky, which Halsey has no right to claim any rights to Britney’s song, Britney Spear’s wrote this song with her compassionate and honest words that this song was the one who helped her out of dark times and yet Halsey torn it up.

I’ve listened to the song 100x and I need a few more months to let you know how I really feel about it but I can tell you it’s a beautiful glimpse into a beautiful life of a beautiful woman whom I admire very much and I wish her nothing but Love and Happiness

Sorry but been here done it. We didn’t need a new version of Lucky. Britney’s version is enough. Can we get something fresh and original?
