LL Cool sounds great on these records. The wordplay he is exhibiting on this album is leagues above anything out right now. Now as for the production, it may be a hit or niss for some people. I describe it as LL Cool J making an Tribe Called Quest album. Q-Tip's production is very inventive and multi layered but if you are looking forhard knocking beats, this isn't the album for you. OUtisde of The Vow and Passion, none of the beats hit very hard. With that said, it's one of the best albums I heard all year. LL shouldn't be sounding this good

LL Cool J is a legend and he can get away with making album(s) that don't sell as big mainstream numbers because he has a proven track record and is respected. But bruh where's the club bangers? Street heat? Gym music? Ladies make it bounce music? Influence the youth with your music? Overall the album gets a strong 1 star because he's still my guy. At least he could've done stronger marketing, i haven't seen one commercial or billboard or breaking news or big concert or any big tour following this album lol?
