Claimed he beat on his wife, he was wrong. They literally started crip walkin in the Not Like Us music video 😭😭🙏 Also one more thing, stop gargling on his meat dawg

I said it. It’s the truth. This is post “Not Like Us” by the way. Not like us is like 9/10 and this is 10/10. This song isn’t catchy like Not like us. Diss songs aren’t designed to be catchy. They’re designed to ruin someone. It ruined Drake. Not like us was the victory lap. This is a true diss masterpiece.

This track here for those folks who understand is dark deep and downright creepy. This is probably the one and only diss track that had me stop rewind and play back.

All the reviews saying “one star, he forgot how to make catchy music” posted before “not like us” dropped. People don’t understand, in a rap battle, every song isn’t meant to be a bop. It’s a competition to determine who has the best flow and lyrical ability. The echo and overlays on the “cause you lied” are genuinely haunting. This song got Drizzy flipping from “drop drop drop” to “woah woah woah, you could drop a hundred records I’ll just walk away.”😂🤷🏻‍♂️ Grateful someone finally made the mistake of stepping to the guy, the world needed to see the war mode Kendrick.

As someone who has championed Hit Em Up and Ether as the two greatest diss records of all-time, I say now this one has taken the top spot for me. This was a horror film tailor made for the mind, body, and soul of Aubrey Graham. Each verse lethal, Kendrick removes the mask of Drake and reveals to the audience what he has always been. Kendrick’s pen has remained sharp, but the way he uses his crescendoing tone to evoke the climax of the song is just brilliant.
