This is one of my favorite country albums yet. This five stars for me. That’s just because I can’t give it more.

Far too mainstream and overdone, just like so many other new artists from any music genre. Slap together the first couple albums for a quick buck. Not for me, but dude is pretty popular and I wish him the best.

I was raised on real country music & this just simply isn't it. He sounds like his voice is being played in slow motion or he has a speech impediment. No im not white- stop projecting your own bigot beliefs. It's just not a true country album. No matter what excuses you give or sad justifications. ITS NOT!

First saw/heard of this artist on a recent segment of SNL. Immediately intrigued. Bought the album, gave it a listen. Yeah, it ain't Country, but neither is country anymore. I keep a playlist on my devices called "Americana". It definitely fits in it. I hear a bit of pop, folk, soft rock and rap. And right now, this sounds fresher and more original than any pre-packaged, corporate created "superstar" out there. Listen with an open mind and don't try to fit it in a box. Enjoy it for what it is: good story telling that you can relate to and understand.
