Watts’ renditions of Rach 2 and 3 are by far the most consistent and masterful in quality that can be found on iTunes - it truly feels like he never misses a note. Dispose of any doubts you may have about his “lack of passion” - the music speaks for itself.

* Entremont delivers an emotional virtuosic performance, especially the 'Allegro Scherzando' (Full Moon And Empty Arms) of 'Rach 2' with Bernstein/NYPO.
* Watts is marvelous on 'Rach 3' with Ozawa/NYPO which is full of beauty and drama: the `Allegro ma non tanto', in particular, is absolutely stunning.

An absolute brilliant recording. In terms of performance quality, the only better recordings out there are Horowitz's and Rachmaninoff's--but the sound quality on those is terrible.
